"AMAZING SPIDER-MAN" REVIEW (SPOILERS INSIDE!)
"The Amazing Spider-Man" while flawed in areas, lives up to its name: it is amazing, folks. From the chemistry of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, the webslinging CGI, the bricks Webb has laid down for future installments, and just the overall tonal changes from Raimi's golly-gee-willickers-buoyancy in the original films to the darker, more realistic approach Webb is going for here, it all works across the board. And as much as I am a HUGE fan of the Raimi films and what he did with his movies, it was time for a change, and I'm glad Webb is that guy.
